OUR FIRM

Baker Young Corporation was formed in 1989 as a result of the acquisition of the Pittsburgh Management Services Group of Cushman & Wakefield. The firm merged in 2019 with Lockamp Properties and now provides clients a full complement of real estate services in property/facility management, property leasing/sales, acquisitions/development, construction/management, tenant representation, and medical consulting and management services. The company manages and/or owns in excess of 2 million square feet (and growing) of office, retail, institutional and industrial real estate in southwestern Pennsylvania, Missouri and Ohio.

Christine Stinson

President

As president of Baker Young Corporation, Christine Stinson offers the company’s clients a wealth of real estate knowledge and proven experience. Christine previously served 12 years as vice president of property management for a regional development firm, located in Pittsburgh. Her responsibilities included oversight of over 7 million square feet of office, retail and residential property while managing the talented staff associated with a regional development firm. Her primary focus in her current and past positions is on property management, tenant relations and lease negotiations. Christine has also served as a property manager for high-rise office buildings with Grubb & Ellis of Pittsburgh, as well as managing a suburban office park for a national development firm.


James Malanos

Vice President of Property Management

James (Jim) Malanos co-founded Baker Young Corporation in 1989 after purchasing Cushman & Wakefield of Pittsburgh, where he served as partner with the company’s property management division. Jim currently serves as the vice president of property management and has been instrumental in the growth and vision of Baker Young. Jim was previously employed as vice president of business development for Mellon Stuart Company of Pittsburgh, with management responsibilities in Chicago, Orlando and Pittsburgh. His diverse background covers a cross-section of services within commercial, industrial and institutional projects. Jim has had a significant role in various Pittsburgh projects, including Fifth Avenue Place, Ross Park Mall, Allegheny General Hospital, St. Francis General Hospital, Magee-Women’s Hospital and the Pittsburgh International Airport.


Mike Locke

Acquisitions/Asset Manager

For twenty years, Mike Locke served as president of a regional development firm, handling the development, leasing, and property management of more than 7 million square feet of Class A office, warehouse and retail properties. Notable properties developed under his tenure include Heinz 57 Center ($65MM renovation), the Oliver Building and Embassy Suites & Hotel ($42MM renovation), and the Grant Building ($12 MM renovation). In addition to the more than 1 million square feet of properties, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to Baker Young in the areas of property management, building-to-suit development, construction management, real estate finance and structuring partnerships.
